We recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance for most events. For larger gatherings (50+ people) or during peak seasons (wedding season, holidays), we suggest booking 4-6 weeks ahead to ensure availability and proper planning.
Yes! We offer complimentary tastings for events with 25+ guests. For smaller gatherings, we provide tasting portions at a nominal fee which is credited toward your final order. Tastings help us ensure every dish meets your expectations.
Absolutely! All our meat is halal-certified, and we follow strict halal preparation guidelines. We understand the importance of dietary requirements and ensure all our African and Afghan dishes meet halal standards.
Of course! We love working with clients to create custom menus that reflect their preferences and dietary needs. Whether you want to mix African and Afghan dishes, accommodate allergies, or create fusion options, we're here to make it happen.
We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance receive a full refund minus a small processing fee. Cancellations within 48-72 hours are subject to a 25% fee, and cancellations within 48 hours may be charged 50% of the total order.
Yes! We offer professional serving staff for events of 30+ guests. Our team includes experienced servers who can help with setup, serving, and cleanup. This service ensures your event runs smoothly while you focus on enjoying time with your guests.
We primarily serve the Greater Vancouver area, but we can accommodate special requests for locations within a 50km radius. Additional delivery fees may apply for distances beyond our standard service area. Contact us to discuss your specific location.
We're experienced in accommodating various dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free options. Many of our traditional dishes are naturally suited to these requirements, and we're happy to modify recipes when needed.
Food safety is our top priority. We follow all health department guidelines, maintain proper food temperatures during transport, and use insulated containers for delivery. Our kitchen is regularly inspected and our staff is trained in food safety protocols.
Yes! We cater outdoor events including picnics, festivals, and backyard gatherings. We bring portable warming equipment when needed and work with you to ensure the food stays fresh and delicious regardless of the venue.
